Typhoid Fever

I talked to Grace this morning.  She was at the clinic "hospital" yesterday.  She was told she has Typhoid.  She said that her head hurts very, very badly and her stomach does too.
I asked her if she is eating and she said yes.
We talked about the food should be very hot that she eats &/or "clean" and she said that she is using well water.  (Not sure if that is better but can imagine that the water from a pond/stream would potentially be more harmful then well water but still...we have Typhoid.)
She said that the only thing she asks for is prayer.  She has not gone to school for two days.
Rest is what she needs, not school.
We talked about the passport coming in soon and what that means to us.  She sounded like she was smiling when we talked.  I hope she was.
Clean Water For The World is an organization that provides simple adaptable water purification systems at no charge to communities without access to clean drinking water.  Dr. Betty arranged for  Brian and I to take a water unit to Grace's school for the kids when we go.  This will help the kids that attend, Nebbi Standard Academy to drink clean water.
