"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33 NIV

"In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world."  - John 16:33 NIV
Yesterday we received word that the passport will be delayed until next Thursday, July 21st.  There was an explanation attached to it.  We can only say that the Ugandan Military has cut in front of Grace in line and we have to wait.  The Ugandan Embassy is aware of her student visa and will be working on the passport next week.
Here on the home front we have made many advances for Grace.
We made an appointment for her doctor's physical in September before high school starts!  That was huge!  She may not be excited for this appointment, but I am.  I will be there to help her through it.  That means a step towards physical health improvement.  God is so good!
We have also been working on her and Emma's living arrangements.  She now has a wardrobe thanks to a very dear friend that dropped off some clothes for all four seasons!  Emma is busy splitting her space in half for Grace to move into their bedroom.  (She wouldn't have it any other way.)
Our plans to travel and see Uganda in August are being altered.  We do not know what that means.  We were set to leave on August 8th but now that will not happen.  The window for Brian and I to make the trip is fast escaping us.  Please pray for the passport to return to us and the visa application and interview to go smoother than expected!
Today I tried to call Grace and her friend answered for her.  She said that Grace was praying.
Please join with Grace.

We are putting this all in God's hands.

Focused on the positive here.  Determined not to let the "earthly voice" have a say & win our emotions.
Living in the present.   Grateful that God is at work.
