Hold on Grace~

Grace has stopped calling/texting us.  She is now coming to the painful awareness that she will probably not have a chance at finishing this school year in the USA.   Maybe in next school year, but we don't know.
We have had lots of questions asked of us like, "What is next?"  We spent lots of time with Grace in August after her denial.  We discussed with her the possibility of the next attempt not being positive.  She knows that our commitment to her is strong.  We love her and want her to be the best she can be!  She knows that our commitment to seek out an education to help her achieve her goal is not bound by the same restrictions as our government.  That we love her and this means w/o restriction!  She will have the highest level of education that she wants to finish.  If that is a high school degree (which she has said is not the case) then that is great or if it is a doctorate degree, we are there.  It is not the level but the commitment!  She is a member of this family and that fact can not be removed.
We just wish for the sake of quality that it would be here, in the USA.  There are so many opportunities that she can be provided in a nursing education.  Plus, she would have my mentoring in that process.
We are meeting as a group tomorrow in Upton's office to discuss the "snag" in this process.  We are hoping to "un-snag" the problem and move ahead.  We are asking for prayers for heaven to open eyes!
Our meeting is at 9:30am.  Please join with us in praying for the gates to open for Grace.
Thank you.
Brian, Sue, Emma, Allen and Grace

Our hope is in Christ, not in man.

  1. Met with Upton's office today. Nothing is moving. We are very disappointed in the "Congressional Liaison for the SEVIS program." There is lots of talk and nothing is still been done. We are stuck!
