After much prayer, Sue was able to speak with Apoko (Grace) today! She was in Pader, Uganda when we spoke. (I just wanted to
scream but there was lots of info to work on while talking to her!) Her grandmother wishes for her to come
and they are praying for this opportunity to come true. She is grateful to God for this chance. She said, "AMEN! AMEN!"
She did get her birth certificate and is very excited to be part of this family! (Silly girl!)
She was so enthusiastic- it made our day!
This next week, we will have more paperwork to move forward in the process with Portage Public Schools and the attorney in Kampala.
We would like to ask for prayers in this delicate process. Please pray that Grace will have the strength to continue and no (overwhelming) fear & that we
can plan on traveling to bring her here in August.
Dr. Betty said this is like throwing Grace into the ocean and saying "swim!"
This will only be possible through God's grace!
